Rain value in ws_newdata.csv

hello,

I am using the automatic export of data (in ws_newdata.csv) in order to import data to an SQL server database.
This data export was working good since several month, but I just observed today that the rain value written in ws_newdata.csv is always 0, even if a rain value is captured by wswin. Is it a bug appeared in the last version? (we had no rain here since January 1st and it was working with previous versions)

For instance today at 10:00, the rain was 0.2 mm. Rain values in wswin is OK, rain written in aktuell.txt is 0,2 mm , but rain written in ws_newdata.csv is 0 !!

regards

JackT (wswin+ Vantage Pro2)

Hello Jack,
the function works, because I do it myself like this.
Perhaps you must control the rain sensor.
"Weather station" --> available sensor --> hook at "sensor rain"
"View - show selected sensors" -->rain sensor enabled?

Hello Werner,

Thanks for your reply. The sensor is selected and enabled, and the rain data are correctly display on the wswin screen as well as in the recorded data and statistics
The only problem is that now the rain data written to the ws_newdata.csv are always zero...and it was not the case before!

As an example, here was the content of my ws_newdata.csv a few minutes ago :

Code: Alles auswählen

Date,Horaire,Temp. I.,Temp. E.,Temp. E. min,Temp. E. max,Hum. I.,Hum. E.,P.atmo.,Pluie,Vent,Direction,P. de rosÈe,Temp au vent,Rafales,RÈception
,,?C,?C,?C,?C,%,%,hPa,l/m?,km/h,?,?C,?C,km/h,%

17.01.2006,18:30,22.3,5.7,5.7,5.7,42,81,1010.9,0.000,14.5,210,2.7,0.2,24.1,75.7
17.01.2006,18:40,22.3,5.7,5.7,5.7,41,80,1010.9,0.000,4.8,196,2.5,5.7,33.8,73.0
and here is the corresponding lines extracted from the file aktuell.txt :

Code: Alles auswählen

17.01.2006;18:20;22.3;5.8;5.8;6.0;41;81;1010.9;0.600;8.5;180;2.8;4.0;30.6;75.21;8;4;184
17.01.2006;18:30;22.3;5.7;5.7;5.8;42;81;1010.9;0.400;9.1;210;2.7;3.5;24.1;75.73;14;4;184
17.01.2006;18:40;22.3;5.7;5.7;5.7;41;80;1010.9;0.400;11.6;196;2.5;1.8;33.8;72.96;10;4;184
The rain is correct in aktuell.txt (0.600 - 0.400 - 0.400), but is always 0.000 in ws_newdata.csv

By writing this post, I observed also that the wind data are not the same between the 2 files!!!

Why are these values different? Is it because I am using my Vantage Pro 2 in near real time mode?
