WS2300. Problems with rain gauge

Hi there,

All of a sudden my rain gauge doesnt register rain anymore.

I´ve tried this to fix it:
- I´ve tested the wire from the gauge to the thermo/hygro sensor and it seems ok
- I´ve checked that the gauge can "move" freely.
- When tipping the "gauge" I can hear a small click thinking that the gauge switch is ok.
-I´ve resetet and restarted both the display unit and thermo/hygro sensor

I use a cable/ACDC power setup between display unit and thermo/hygro sensor to avoid any wireless issues.

Any ideas?

I think you have done everything, which is possible.
The only you can do: check if there is corrosion at the connector

Thanks for tip.

Sprayed the connectors on the thermo/hygrosensor and the soldering on the rain guage with elector cleaner - and bingo it recieved signal
