habe das problem so alle 1-2 tage: interface wird zwar ausgelesen, aber alle felder bleiben leer (weiß), der lesecoutdown läuft weiter, die grafik wird aktualisiert, aber die zeitachse bleibt hängen. nach neustart des programms klappts dann wieder....

Nein, bei mir tritt das Symptom auch auch. Gerade vor 10 Minuten erst wieder. Der Rechner war aber erst wieder 3 Stunden an, weil das Poblem heute Morgen auch wieder auftrat.
Ich bin also doch nicht allein
Ich weiss mir im Moment auch keinen Rat mehr.
Ausser die aktuell.* wird auch schon keine Grafik mehr produziert, der Speicher ist auf 56 MB aufgerüstet und das mit dem "einfrieren" tritt bei mir ganz unterschiedlich auf. Mal nach 1 Stunde, mal "erst" nach 12 Stunden.
Das Problem ist dabei, dass der Rechner so feste hängt, dass auch das automatische Herunterfahren über den Taskmanager nicht funktioniert.
Vieleicht ist ein PI 166Mhz doch nicht so dolle für diese Aufgabe geschaffen?

also ich hab einen PIII 500 MHz mit 128 MB Ram; bisher lief das da ohne Probleme, bis auf meine obige Frage.
Werde die Kiste aber nicht mehr weiter aufrüsten, zumal schon eine Platinenreparatur schon ne menge gekostet hat.
Da ich hier win XP laufen habe, kann ich die Anwendung oder den Prozess immer beenden

Hi all,
I don't think the problem is with WsWin. I run this program for months now, together with 3 other programs. One of them controls my domotica and my whole house and garden. My configuration is a modest PIII at 45O Mhz with 250 meg, under Win98, SE. I must say that I restart my pc at irregular times, perhaps every 2 or 3 days. A good indication for me is that the pc clock starts to retard (a memory leak somewhere? but in which program???). My two interfaces refuse to pick up the DCF time but are extremely fiable for the data from a mixed Hüger WMR900 and ELV system. But that's fine with me as this gives me an indication as to when I have to restart my PC. I have today my first anniversary of my website, and the only one time I missed the updates was some weeks ago when my cable modem broke down and I had to wait for 4 days (?!) to have it replaced. But in the mean time, no data was lost thanks to WsWin.
Keep your confidence: it's just marvellous.

Well, I know this problem ( hmmm???) only a short period of time, so I have to remember when i did the latest wswin update, maybee this is the hit.
The timer / clock problem with win98 / ME, this is a very well known program on my PIII 500 and 600 system. Since I have Win XP on them the clock is stabel without any DCF synchronisations! I only restart them afetr updates (necessarely!).
On the 500 system i have wswin, wdisplay, webcam32 two times, snagit and Aninoquisi lightening stable running for the last three months, so I´m not sure why wswin causes the trouble now!?

da Du auch WD auf dem gleichen Computer nutzt, must/solltest Du jeden Tag den Computer einmal neu starten.
Auch unter XP
Da ich natürlich auch diese Kombinationen teste - die Kombination WD/VantagePro und dann noch Compiler starten erfordert leider bei mir oft einen mehrfachen Neustart am Tag.

Ich bin jetzt probeweise auf 2.76.3a zürück, ich bilde mir ein, daß es damit kein Probleme gab.
Das mit dem Neustart leuchtet mir nicht so recht ein, immerhin läuft das System stabil, alle anderen Anwendungen tun auch das was sie sollen...., wswin hat im Speicher seine Belegung, die Prozessorauslastung bleibt auch längere Zeit bei Null, task wird ausgeführt, hat sich aber doch irgendwie verabschiedet...
Mir fällt da noch ein, daß es da eine nvidia Treiberupdate letztens gab, evtl. ist das der Grund ??? Aber wswin laüft eiegntlich auf der ATI Karte...
Was ich aber sicher nicht tun will und werde ist ein täglicher Neustart des Systems, das soll auch ohne intensive Betreuung auch längere Zeit seine Arbeit machen! (Urlaub etc.)

P.S.: Bei winxp /2000 gibt es keine Möglichkeit bei Start des systems die obligatorische Benuterabfrage zu umgehen??

Es ist doch seltsam, ich hatte Dir damals geschildert, dass Vorgängerversionen absolut fehlerfrei liefen, nur ab 2.7x (ich weiss nicht mehr genau welche) gibt es ähnl. Probleme wie bei Stefan. Da ich aber keine ständige Datenabfrage mache, kann ich mit dem Problem leben.

genau, für XP ist das in den PowerToys mit integriert, TweakUI 2.0, hatte das soger schon auf dem Rechner nur noch nicht Tweak genutz. So funktioniert das Autologin nach längerem Stromausfall endlich wieder... danke für den Hinweis.
Noch lauft die wswin Vorgängerversion, mal sehn ob sie das Wochenende überlebt, ich werde noch berichten...
